ECNU Field Day

We woke up early on Tuesday to go to the ECNU Ming Hang Campus to watch the 运动会. After giving us breakfast and nice matching sweaters we were lined up, not to watch, but to participate in the opening ceremony. It felt like a mix between walking the red carpet and like being an animal at a zoo. Everyone had cameras or cellphones and were watching us with excitement, though some were laughing. After the opening speeches we were back on the bus to go back to or campus before any sports were played. A bit of a disappointment, but an interesting experience. I guess if they told us the truth not as many people would have come.
