The Scenery

The campus is really nice. There are lots of trees and plants and two rivers that run through. There are always men fishing along the river. I haven't seen them catch any fish but there must be something in the water if they are always people fishing. This is a picture of the lilly pads at one end of the river. There aren't any flowers left but can you imagine what it would be like in full bloom?

This is Chang Feng Park which is right at the back gate of our school. There is a huge lake in the center and there are always couples or school kids in paddle boats. The park is any easy way to locate the campus on a map. I usually look for the park with the huge lake in the middle and we are just east of it.

Here is a pavilion at the park. Lots of locals like to gather and chat under these pavilions or at tables around the park. They often play card games, play instruments and sing. It is really fun to wander and see what people are doing.

I also love watching the kite flyers. You can tell what they are doing because the are holding a big spool of string and you can see the string going up into the sky but sometimes it takes a while to find the kite. Once you do it is just a small speck in the clouds. It is amazing how high they can get those kites.
